Clerisy Safety is now serving the fire service of Nova Scotia with hybrid firefighter training options. This allows students to balance family, work and firefighting easier while still receiving certified and experience based instruction.
NFPA 1001: Firefighter Level 1 is now live and available for departments to book as a hybrid course.

Inspections
After booking an appointment for NFPA 1931
Annual Ladder testing. Clerisy Safety travels to you to service test and if
required repair your department’s ground ladders. Clerisy Safety’s Ladder
Technicians are also always willing to provide guidance and advise to
departments and members on how to properly maintain and store ground ladders to
prevent unnecessary damage to your department’s equipment.
Inspections
Does your department use fall arrest equipment? Does your department maintain a rope rescue program to any degree or level?
We are bringing our team to you once again to inspect your fall arrest equipment along with Ropes, harnesses, Hardware and log books as a third-party non-user. This ensures your department is answering the call while being compliant with CSA standards.

Clerisy Safety is owned and operated by Eugene and James Justason. A father and son team with a deep family connection to the fire service. Dedicated to learning new concepts, sharing lessons learned and having a good time doing it.
Eugene: 27+ Years of service with the volunteer fire service. Currently a Station Captain at Station 24 in Musquodoboit Harbour NS. Lead Instructor: Vehicle Extrication, NFPA 1001 Level 1, NFPA 1002 Pump Operations, Emergency Vehicle Operator, Managing Volunteer Fire Companies & Incident Command
James: 9 Years as a career firefighter with 4 Years of volunteer fire experience .Currently a firefighter with Ottawa Fire Services. Lead Instructor: Big Box Tactics, Firefighter Rescue & Survival, Elevator Awareness, Fire service leadership for young leaders & Ring Rescue.
